Project: Topcalf calf sheds in Schleswig-Holstein (Germany)

In cooperation with our dealer Holm & Laue, Topcalf realized nine calf sheds in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. This project shows how smart construction and a well-thought-out layout contribute to optimal animal welfare and practical working comfort.

The Topcalf Calf Shed offers 16 m² of lying area per lying place and is suitable for four to six calves per shed. The sheds are equipped with drinking bowl connections, ensuring a reliable and continuous water supply.

For additional ease of use, a two-way switching system has been installed, allowing the lighting to be operated from both sides of the shed. This supports efficient daily routines and increases comfort during daily work.

With these calf sheds, a durable, functional and animal-friendly housing system has been realized, perfectly suited to modern calf farming practice.
