What is a Topcalf Calf Pen
The Tocpalf calf pen system is a calf housing system that can’t be moved. The calf pen system by Topcalf consists of ‘basis pens’ and ‘extension pens’. The basis pen basically consists of 2 side walls and a 2-part front gate. The extension pen basically consists of 1 side wall and a 2-part front gate. Therefore, the extension pen is always placed against a wall or another already placed calf pen. The Topcalf calf pens are equipped with removable separation walls. This allows you to easily create groups if you would like to do so and which makes it very easy to muck out and clean the calf pens. The 2-part front gates allow you to enter the calf hutch without disturbing a drinking calf, by only opening the right side of the front gate.
This system is a modular system which makes it very easy to add a new calf pen or remove one (if necessary). The calf pens are available in different depths, widths, heights and with different wall thicknesses. It all depends on your preferences and barn situation.
