Optimal Calf Housing: 14 New Fixed Group Hutches

Our assembly team recently installed 14 fixed group hutch, specially designed to improve calf welfare and ease of work for the dairy farmer. The fixed group hutch, with a total area of 16.25 m² per unit, are equipped with light switches in both the first and last stall of the row for optimal ease of use. The pens feature insulated roofs and extended side walls that protect against rain and drafts, ensuring a comfortable and dry living environment.

Additionally, the fixed group hutch have rear ventilation sliders for improved air circulation and climate control. Each unit is equipped with lighting, an electricity connection, a turnable feed fence with an adjustable bar, and an access door with adjustable bars. These features not only provide a more efficient working environment but also contribute to a healthier and more stress-free environment for the calves.
