Topcalf calf housing project at the Trompert family farm

What a great project to be proud of! Together with our dealer Schrijver Stalservice and the farmers themselves, we were able to realise a new housing project at the Trompert family farm in Schalkhaar.

A row of 12 Topcalf calf shed has been installed on the farm, with one barn set up as a practical service unit. This layout provides an efficient and well-organised working environment, where both calf welfare and the farmer’s working comfort are central.

Modern and flexible calf housing

The Topcalf calf shed has been designed with a focus on health, sustainability, and ease of use. Thanks to its well-thought-out design, the barn offers:

• an optimal barn climate with excellent ventilation options

• protection against weather conditions and draughts

• a comfortable, dry resting area for the calves

• a flexible layout, tailored to daily farm practice

With this new calf barn setup, the Trompert family is taking an important step towards future-proof and animal-friendly calf rearing.
