Dairy farm Albers
Dairy Farm Albers is located in Emmerich in Germany, very close to the Dutch border. This dairy farmer focused on ease of use and chose therefore for 2 Topcalf Quattro hutches and 1 Quinto hutch. In total these hutches offer space to 13 calves. The calves are kept in the hutches for 8 to 10 weeks, which is why it was decided to raise the partition walls. The calves are fed milk, muesli and water. In total, this dairy farm has 160 dairy cows with accompanying young stock. Milking takes place in a double herringbone milking parlour. The 2 Quattro hutches are placed right next to the main road and get almost daily visits from school children.
