in 2019 we mounted 64 calf pens in a calf barn for buffalos in beautiful Litizia, Italy. In this calf barn we mounted 64 spacious calf pens which can be made bigger by removing the separation walls. The calf pens are equipped with 2-part front gates, which allow the dairy farmer to enter the calf hutch, without disturbing a drinking calf. Moreover, this calf barn is equipped with the automatic feeding system called the CalfRail from Förster Technik and thanks to the hose ventilation system, the calves always have access to fresh air. This calf housing system combined with an automatic feeding system and a good ventilation system, makes this calf barn nearly perfect in our opinion. Futhermore, the calf pens are equipped with folding bucket holders, teat buckets, teat bucket holders, drinking bowls and more.
