50 Topcalf Duo-Flex XL Calf Pens Installed in Portugal!
At this beautiful location in Portugal, our assembly team recently installed 50 Topcalf Duo-Flex XL calf pens with roofs. These calf pens are designed with both calf welfare and ease of use for the farmer in mind.
In the Topcalf Duo calf pens, calves can get used to social contact, which stimulates their behavioral development. Thanks to the removable partition wall, the farmer can decide whether to keep them individually or together.

✓ Removable partition with vision hatch: Allows calves to be housed individually or in pairs, offering housing flexibility and promoting better social development.
✓ Plastic grates (3% passage): These slats provide a hygienic and comfortable lying area for the calves, ensuring optimal drainage and easy cleaning.
✓ Two-piece doors: Allow access to the calf pen without disturbing a drinking calf, making daily work easier.
✓ Adjustable bars on the front gates: Provide the option to restrain the calf when needed, for example, during care or medical procedures.
✓ Mobility: Thanks to four swivel castors—two of which have brakes—and a lifting handle, the pens are easy to move. This allows for fattening and cleaning directly on the manure heap, ensuring ease of work and optimal comfort for the farmer.
